POWDER PAINT
The application of powder coating is based on an electrostatic basis. It can be explained as sending powder paint particles to the spray gun with air at a certain pressure and spraying them on the previously grounded material by electrostatic charging. An attraction occurs between the powder paint and the surface due to the negative (or positive) charge of the paint and the paint adheres to the material electrostatically. It then melts in a 200oC oven and adheres to each other and the material. Based on this principle, it has been revealed that paint particles can generally be loaded by 2 different methods.
These are; -Corona (ionization) -Tribo (electro-kinetic) methods.
